PTO Funding & Donations
The Skokie/Washburne PTO would like to thank all parents and families for their support. The Skokie/Washburne PTO operates as a non-profit organization under the by-laws of the Winnetka 36 Central PTO. In addition to generous donations made by our families, our PTO raises money through various fundraisers throughout the school year including the sales of Lions Spiritwear, and our ongoing Hot Lunch Program.
We kindly ask for a $120 contribution per child at the beginning of the school year. Please donate HERE.
This payment is a one-time fee for all dues and contributions for the entire school year:
- $40 contribution per child for PTO Dues to help fund PTO programming such as student socials, staff hospitality, school wish list items such as AV equipment and the Den furniture, and much more!
- $10 Central PTO dues per child. The Central PTO will be collecting $10 per child directly from Skokie/Washburne PTO (this fee used to be collected during school registration with the district). This fee is used to cover expenses incurred to benefit all District PTOs: Directory Spot, insurance, and audit/accounting management.
- $50 Holiday Staff Gift Fund. This fund is money received, money given - the teachers & staff will be gifted what you generously provide. $50 per student ensures that ALL teachers & staff members at both Skokie & Washburne receive a holiday gift.
- $20 Staff Appreciation Week contribution to help us shower our teachers and staff with gratitude during Staff Appreciation Week in May 2026

As a result of our fundraisers and our families’ generous donations, the Skokie/Washburne PTO has been able to provide funding for the following staff and student requests for the 2023-24 school year:
- $4,500 to Washburne for half of the cost to update the AV equipment in the Little Theater.
$12,790 to Skokie for new entryway furniture - $2,700
for "Skokie Den" furniture
